Ben Sheets was activated from the 15-day disabled list Wednesday by the Milwaukee Brewers and was set to start against the Chicago Cubs. Sheets, on the DL since July 16 with a sprained finger on his pitching hand, also had some partial tearing of the tissue surrounding the tendon of the finger. He's also been slowed by blisters.
