The Minnesota Twins put outfielder Michael Cuddyer on the 15-day disabled list on Friday with a sprained right thumb. Cuddyer was hurt Wednesday night against Detroit when the right fielder made a hard slide into second base. He missed Thursday's game against the Tigers. After the game, manager Ron Gardenhire said Cuddyer's thumb was swollen, but not broken.
