Becky Hammon scored 25 points and Sophia Young added 17 to lead the San Antonio Silver Stars to a 63-61 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday night.
San Antonio (13-6) has won five straight and nine of its last 11. The first-place Silver Stars extended their lead in the Western Conference to 1 1/2 games over Sacramento and 6 1/2 over Los Angeles.
