European football's ruling body UEFA is to investigate the crowd trouble at the Champions League match between AS Roma and Manchester United in Rome on Wednesday night, when baton-wielding riot police charged United fans and both sets of supporters threw missiles.UEFA communications director William Gaillard says: "We will be waiting for the delegate's report and the control and disciplinary body will be looking at the television images to see the dynamics of what actually happened."
