Alex Rodriguez wasn't in the starting lineup because of a strained left hamstring Thursday when for the New York Yankees played the Minnesota Twins. Rodriguez was scheduled to have an MRI exam. The All-Star third baseman tripped over Twins first baseman Justin Morneau's ankle Monday night while beating out a potential double play.
