Likely favorite Curlin and a record-tying five horses trained by Todd Pletcher were among an over-the-limit field of 22 3-year-olds entered Wednesday for the Kentucky Derby. Curlin, one of two horses in the field trained by Steve Asmussen, will try to become the first colt in 125 years to win Saturday's Derby without having raced as a 2-year-old.
