Canas ends Federer's win streak at 41 (AP)



Roger Federer had won seven consecutive tournaments and was favored to break Guillermo Vilas' 30-year-old record of 47 straight victories. However, Guillermo Canas beat the world's top-ranked player 7-5, 6-2 Sunday in the second round of the Pacific Life Open, snapping Federer's 41-match winning streak.
